I’m Kerri Estella Grinnage and I’m proud to present The Right Style. I’m a nearly 30 year old living right in the heart of Richmond, Virginia. I graduated from Full Sail University with my Bachelor’s in Digital Art and Design with a focus on Web Development and I’m a stylist, makeup artist and skin care and image consultant with BeautiControl, a company that provides premium skin care and cosmetic products and helped me launch my own business. I also work as the Creative Production Manager at a local non-profit, a gift that allows me to spread and focus my creative energy in all aspects of my life.
I created The Right Style as an umbrella for my BeautiControl and image consulting business in 2013. This business served as my way to create a unified front for all of the things that I was doing that were vaguely beauty-related. I ramped up, started this blog and waited for the tide to come in. As time went on, life happened and TRS got pushed to the wayside. I asked myself why this had happened. I was still working my business, I was still trying to reach people who could benefit from my experience– why was it that could I not keep writing about it? Then it dawned on me… I needed a mission.
I refocused and did some redesigning and I am proud of where The Right Style is going today. When I’m not working on TRS, I am writing, taking photos, watching every television show in the known universe, and eating all of the food. I’m maintaining and developing several websites right now— you can take the girl out of web development but you can’t take the web developer out of the girl!
